Mr. Orlanet was furious at Lina’s condition on her return from the Purification Center, blaming her for being too weak and that no yandere would take her now. He was relieved when a bank teller named Cosmo offered up the dower for her. Cosmo truly loves her, but is so manipulative at the same time.

In Stratham, darlings are not believed to be human, as I’ve said before. They’re thought to be angels sent to the mortal world as either volunteers or as penal laborers for crimes against Possar, their religion’s God of Water and Yanderes.
Another module I ran for 10 Candles (see this post for info!) This one was “Stratham” which was basically a story where you live in this “perfect” neighborhood with wonderful neighbors who, it turns out, maybe have some secrets! I filled the role of Them as a bodysnatcher/ alien parasite sort of villain this time! Top image is a silly little graphic with all my player characters (I had a LOT OF PLAYERS this time) and the rest are all the NPCs I populated the neighborhood with. In terms of scale, it’s definitely the biggest game I’ve ever run!!
The 3 Steps Plan is a darlingkeeping and family planning philosophy proposed by Strathamian priest Mars Altair in 1941. He believed that the ideal Strathamian relationship progressed in 3 phases, based on age brackets. Though modern clergy often criticize it for being ageist, the cat is already out of the bag, and even teenage yanderes in Stratham aim to follow it if only loosely.
Stage 1 (18-24): Marriage and training, preparation for parenthood. The yandere must make sure that not only is their darling obedient, but that they are both mature enough, knowledgeable enough and healthy enough to produce heirs. They also must make sure their home can accommodate a family.
Stage 2 (25-43): Procreation and raising children. The most important stage, as Stratham’s religion focuses heavily on having many children.
Stage 3 (43-???): With children grown and gone, the darling will continue with their prescribed duties. The most relaxed stage, according to couples surveyed, and understandably so.
Sarai, big tiddy goth and outsider brought to Stratham. Her fiancé is an aggressive tsunyandere, but she’s so used to his violent ways that she can now effortlessly dodge the blows from his tantrums.
Deja. By day she just seems like your average newcomer to town, but in truth, she’s a Strathamian nun, sent to work undercover and find darling prospects for their muscle to eventually kidnap and take to the village. Right now she’s listening to a recording of a sermon while highlighting the most vulnerable leads she’s found.
