It reminds me somewhat of a lotion/emulsion. You’ll notice right off the bat the pretty gold color it has and I’ll get back to that at the end. It spreads across the skin easily and melts into the skin and doesn’t leave behind a sticky residue. I have seen no irritation or breakouts from using. This helps heal and soothe my skin when it’s compromised or irritated. My skin feels stronger and more nourished since I started using a month ago. This is a great moisturizer for PM routines but can also be used as a hydrating serum in your PM routine if you prefer a more occlusive moisturizer at night. I use as both depending on how dry my skin is at the time. Those with oily skin could use this as a stand alone moisturizer but if you have combo/dry skin like me you may need something a bit extra. Back to the beautiful gold color that I mentioned up above, unfortunately it leaves a yellowish tint on my skin. By morning it’s not noticeable and once I wash my face it doesn’t matter in the long run. But because of this I can not use during the day.
