what
Mandatory acne, freckles, vitiligo, rosacea, psoriasis, eczema, warts etc havers appreciation post. Clear skin is overrated as hell, and honestly the shit that we get for having a simple skin condition is crazy. No, you don’t look like a witch or a cow or any of that. You look like you. And you are beautiful no matter your skin.^^
wishing you all a pain and irritation free day!
Behold, Warren be upon ye. In my headcanon, hes a trans man, and has seborrheic keratosis (the spots) and rosacea (the textured blush), both inspired by my mum. I thought it'd be neat if the "perfect" blonde hair blue eyed angel had "imperfections" (HEAVY quotations). Also his spots look like bird patterns to me. If i were to draw a timeline of his life, he'd develop them around the time he first grows his wings, and get more as he gets older. Most of his back is covered in them by the time hes like 30~
Showing a wee bit of vulnerability posting this, but here goes!
It’s not often I take unfiltered, unedited, bare-faced selfies, but I think I’m going through a sort of metamorphosis in my life. I deserve to feel beautiful and feminine in my most natural form as I do when I’m dolled up with good lighting. The rosacea, the breakouts, the chubby cheeks, the unkempt eyebrows, the frizzy hair that needs dyed ASAP… I’m worthy of my inner beauty and femininity, and so was my childhood, adolescent, and young adult self.
And if any girl/femme presenting person somehow comes across this post, so are you! 🖤
Double-blossomed cherry flowers
No makeup / unfiltered and w my acne/rosacea out on display
To think a year ago my rosacea was even worse, I wouldn’t take any pictures without makeup or a filter to cover the intense redness and acne
Having rosacea be like: don’t have alcohol, don’t get too hot, don’t get embarrassed, don’t get too cold, don’t eat sugar, don’t get too dry, don’t live with hard water, don’t swim in public pools, don’t use any products on your face-none of them help and will only make it worse :)
