I ONLY WATCHED PLAYTHROUGHS OF STRAY AND NOW THAT I ACTUALLY GOT TO PLAY IT AAAAAAAAA

I only watched playthroughs, but I wanted to play it for myself to look around and well, take my time to observe details [ some details that I would rather have not seen... cough cough- ]

so it only made the ending like actually hit harder for me- I just UIHDHUHHBBAGGAWAHAHHGGGHH please sobss,, I also noticed Clementine hasn't expressed ANY joy throughout the entire game, not counting the pictures. The closest is a thumbs up-

anyways best game ever 100/10 would play again or watch a playthrough again

Just finished stray - the could-be-better

Spoilers for Stray!

Since I have far more praise than complaints, I will post this first!

Most of the cat gags were used early in the game, and there were very few towards the end. They could have added in more, even if the plot was getting more 'serious'. Like the hiding in boxes in midtown could have been expanded to all different shapes and sizes of containers, a real 'if it fits i sits' scenario. Surprised we got nothing with lazer pointers either.

The ending didn't have *enough* imo. We didn't get to see our cat family again, we didn't even really get to see the view outside the city. I also think it's a let down you couldn't bring the the drone outside, I went to pick it up after B12 'died' but wasn't allowed to.

And lastly I just wanted MORE. I wanted a bigger city to explore, more sidequests, more achievements, more funny little animations and things to play with! This is a game that sells based on it's environment and the fun of exploring it as a cat, but it's lacking in environmental storytelling.
