A massive congrats to Tubbo for winning best minecraft streamer. He has done so much for the community this year connecting people from all corners of the space. From play hosting to the realm to Midoffs Tubbo never fails to create something special and he deserves this so much.

every single nominee did amazing things in the minecraft streaming space and this year is proof that the minecraft community has come so far and still has so much talent to showcase, maybe now more than ever.

I feel like in the past minecraft streamer award nominees haven't always been people who actually streamed minecraft frequently. This year we had an amazing lineup of people who really do stream minecraft and are at the core of the minecraft community. We have builders, pvpers, event players, speedrunners, roleplayers literally everything. Its such a good showing of what the mcyt streaming community has to offer.

Scar is such an incredible creator who demonstrates how minecraft can be used as an outlet for creativity. He is endlessly funny and entertaining and the charity stream he organized was incredible and inspiring. To call him anything but an artist would be a disservice

Feinberg is an example of excellence in the minecraft community. He has also played a massive role elevating mcsr ranked playoffs, cementing mcsr as a minecraft esport. His skill is awe inspiring and his passion and skill for this game are so admirable.

Pangi highlights the potential of minecraft streaming. He has grown such much in the past year coming into his own in his content and demonstrating the value of minecraft as a medium for comedy and storytelling.

Couriway embodies the longevity of minecraft. After more than a decade minecraft remains an incredible popular game and no one is more dedicated to it than Couriway. His infectious love for the game and commitment to accessibility makes people feel at home in this community.

Tubbo has transformed the minecraft streaming space in so many ways this year. Play.hosting made the game more accessible to so many people. The realm created a moving story and connected people who may never have otherwise met. He helped elevate mcsr ranked playoffs and created his own tournament as well. Tubbo stands at the center of the minecraft streaming community and connects people from all over. No one is doing it like him. Its so amazing to see Tubbo win after all these years, I'm so happy for him.

You and adapt had hook up but we promise that no strings attached, and not to get feelings for each other because we were in the same friend group. So when streamer awards came around, me and adapt promised to not come together because it was going to seem suspicious

So when you arrived, people were streaming and getting interviewed by Ron, you said hey to everyone that you saw, you took pictures with some streamers, but then while everyone is going into the main room because the show was starting soon, your walking to go find your seat but you see in the corner of your eye, adapt taking out a necklace that says “yummy” and walking towards Tara

Stand there Watching the whole interaction, you quickly look away, looking down at the ground tears already forming, and walking to your seat

You really tried not to cry because you knew that you and adapt weren’t dating, he didn’t owe you anything,so when adapt won break out streamer of the year, you wanted to hug him and say how proud you were of him but no you stayed in your seat,you just couldn’t face him not after the whole situation with Tara.

So when the night came to the end, you ignored him completely, and walked straight passed him and went to the after party, of course adapt and all the faze guys were there, you went up to all of them and said congratulations to all of them, except adapt, you knew that it was petty for ignoring him, but you felt hurt and you didn’t want to face him.

You walked to the bar, you told yourself you just needed a drink to take the edge off, but once you reached the bar, one turned into another, and then another, until the hurt started to feel a little quieter.

You stand up, barely managing to stay upright, your fingers tightening around the back of the chair as the room spins. When you finally look up, you spot Adapt pushing through the crowd toward you, concern written all over his face.

Your vision blurs.

The last thing you remember clearly is Adapt calling your name again sharper this time, then everything went black..

You wake up and for a second you don’t know where you are. Then it hits you,it’s Adapt’s bed….Your head feels heavy.

You sit up slowly but then you look at the door you see adapt, leaning against the doorway, arms crossed, watching you like he’s been awake for a while.

You stay silent, then adapt finally speaks up “ you feel better?”

“Yeah..”

“Y/n you scared the hell out of me”

“How…?”

“I carried you out,” he says. “You could barely stand.”

“Oh..” you say quietly

“Y/n I’m not mad, I just-why did you drink so much?”

“I don’t know, I didn’t mean to….”

“You’re lying, You don’t get blackout drunk for no reason, you were acting weird that whole night you barely talk to anyone especially me so please y/n tell me why and don’t give me a bullshit excuse.”

“It stupid, I was overacting..” you say quietly but loud enough for him to hear

“No it’s not and even if it is I still want to know why you avoided me that night so please tell me”

You hesitate before speaking “ I saw you give Tara.. the necklace- I know I know we said no strings attached”.

“You saw that?”

You nod

“Look y/n I didn’t mean to hurt you me and Tara are friends, nothing more…. Look the only reason I gave her is because I was trying to move on from you I thought are relationship wouldn’t go any further… because I didn’t think you didn’t like me like that.”

You hesitate before speaking “I do like you I just… I just thought that I wasn’t allowed to want more, because we said no strings attached and I didn’t want to be the one to break that…”

He goes quiet, then nods. “Yeah… that’s how I saw it too”

For a moment, neither of you speaks. It’s not awkward—just honest in a way it hasn’t been before.

“So what now?” you ask, barely above a whisper.

He looks at you, expression careful but real. “I don’t know. But I don’t want to keep pretending this doesn’t matter so how about we start over, I take you out on a real date,we do it the real nature way”.

“okay yeah I would like that”

He nods once. “ Okay,” he says. “Then we’ll do it right, we’ll figure it out as we go.”

And for the first time in a while, that feels enough.
