Who could ever leave me darling?? ...but who could stay?
This photo was taken at the deepest, darkest part in my life. I hated myself. Everything about myself. I attempted suicide. I wanted to die. I felt like I had nothing left to offer this world. A question I asked myself almost daily was “who could stay?” Or “who would want to stay?” And in the days, weeks, months and now year following this photo I have learned that there are so many people who could never leave me. So many people who could stay.
...but most importantly, I learned that I COULD STAY. And I’ve learned that I could love myself.
@taylorswift this song speaks to the depth of my soul. Thank you, you’ve been such a beautiful and important part of my life.
