- The Archer, Lover, Taylor Swift, 2019
“who could ever leave me darling?” BUT WHO COULD STAY?
Ustedes ven a través de mi
Yo veo a través de mi
The year is 2019, Taylor Swift's new album Lover has just come out, you go to YouTube to listen. You reach a song called The Archer, and feel so connected and seen with this song for reasons you honestly can't explain that you put it on repeat. You listen to that song and only that song, you completely forget about the rest of the new album by your favorite artist.
You decide to go online and come across theories and analysis posts on the Lover album. One blogger in particular catches your attention. The post makes a claim that your new favorite song, The Archer is about anxiety and makes a pretty compelling point. You feel called out and ignore your new favorite song and decide to finally listen to the rest of the album, you find a new favorite (Daylight) and don't listen to The Archer for weeks. When you finally listen you decide it's alright to relate to this song, and it's now your second favorite from the album.

“Anxiety is the dizziness of freedom.” - Søren Kierkegaard, The Concept of Anxiety
The second Full Moon of May arrives like a wild horse cresting the horizon, blazing through truth-seeking Sagittarius. Opposing Uranus in Gemini and forming a tense quincunx to Mars in Taurus, this lunation stirs restless winds and frayed nerves. Energy scatters in a dozen directions, irritation simmers beneath the surface, and the longing for freedom grows impossible to ignore. With Lilith standing close to the Moon in Sagittarius, the call to reclaim untamed parts of ourselves echoes even louder.
Meanwhile, Mercury, moving with confidence through its home sign of Gemini, reaches out in a harmonious sextile to Chiron in Aries, the wounded healer. Amid the revelations and awakenings this Sagittarius Full Moon may bring, this sextile offers a bridge between insight and expression, helping us find the words to name our truths and give voice to what has long remained unspoken.
Guiding this lunation is Jupiter in Cancer - exalted, powerful, and standing alone without major aspects - amplifying emotions, intuitions, and the significance of whatever unfolds. Yet there is steadiness here as well. A supportive connection from Saturn in Aries to the Moon acts like an anchor in rough waters, offering wisdom, perspective, and the grounding needed to navigate the intensity without being swept away by it.
