You guys The Archer is the most beautiful song Taylor’s written? Like? The first time I heard it I was driving in my car coming home and was not prepared to cry like I did. I’m SO grateful to Taylor for being so honest and emotional - I’ve felt that way in so many relationships, this battle between self sabotage and being vulnerable and giving into anxieties. Taylor making this vulnerable art and giving it to all of us despite all of what she’s been through means the WORLD to me, and gives me so much strength to make it through my own things. Literally couldn’t love her more

The contrast between the songs we’ve heard so far really shows how diverse this album is going to be. There will be upbeat songs like “Me!” And “You Need To Calm Down”. These songs are bursting with confidence and self assurance. On the other side of the scale, there will be polar opposites like “The Archer” that will explore anxieties, sadness and self doubt. Taylor always uses her albums as a way of sharing her life with us through genuine storytelling. The album is like a book and the songs are the chapters. It starts with intense emotions of sadness like “The Archer” and ends on a happy note with songs like “Me!” I’m so excited to hear all the layers and complex themes of this album. I’m so proud of taylor.
