Guess where I’ve been to! 👀
It’s the Strecno castle (Einon’s castle) in Slovakia. :) I’ve been there multiple times and I thought that I could post these two nice photos I took.
On the first one is the front shot of the castle and on the second is the courtyard from the movie’s ending! I had the opportunity to take a look at a couple of props from Dragonheart, left by the filmmakers (such as Kara’s ax), too.
During the filming of Dragonheart, the castle was being reconstructed. It looks much better now! Here’s a picture from the movie as a comparison:
