What parent combos might there be?
Hot Spot_ the leader of the Protectobots is a firm believer in leading by example. He is a high-energy warrior who prefers getting into the thick of things. His alt mode is a firetruck.
He is the son of Optimus Prime, and the only hint of his sire is his red eyes. Elita-1 loves him as her own, and Roller loves it when his big brother comes for family game night at Optimus’s private quarters.
Streetwise_ the savvy interceptor who can bust a rhyme and rhythm while staying in pursuit of his targets. His alt mode is a cop car.
Streetwise is very much a, in their words, perfect mix of his parents, Prowl and Jazz. Chase, while still a newspark, very much likes his big brother.
First Aid_ the highly empathetic medic, he is cautious, soft-spoken, and is very pacifistic. He will only ever do violence against another if it is to defend his own life or that of another. His alt mode is an ambulance.
Ratchet and Drift were very surprised when they conceived their first year as Endurae. However, they saw it as something to bring hope. And First Aid continued to do so.
Medix greatly admires his much older brother.
(Of course, then Vortex started flirting with Aid. Sincerely. Ratchet almost had a fuel pump failure. Drift very nearly went full-Deadlock.)
Groove_ pacifistic to the extreme, this scout is not a big fan of war. His wants in life are simple: a full fuel tank while he cruises down the open road, taking in the beauty, whether on a sunny or a rainy day. He enjoys his solitary time; he loves his fellow Autobots, but peace is rare to find in such a populated place. His alt mode is a police motorcycle.
Hotwire and Joyride are the Cycle Sisters of the Powermasters team, a specialized force that can go for a long time without Energon. When Joyride kindled with her hubby, Downshift from the specialized “Aggressive Scouting” team Omnibots, they knew Baby had to go somewhere more stable.
Both parents (& the very worried group of Aunts and Uncles) were relieved to find out the Ark already had a creche going. Little Groove loved his creche and caretakers, but he does miss his parents and clan.
Thankfully, when his parents can visit, they take little Groove on long stretches of travel. His loving, yet absent because of duty, parents probably affected his philosophy in life.
Blades_ Air Support Search & Rescue by function, deadly street brawler at spark. The only reason he hasn’t transferred to the front lines is that someone has to back up his brothers when Cons come sniffing around! His alt mode is a rescue helicopter.
Blades, unfortunately, was a war orphan. When he was found by an Autobot squad, the poor guy was weak… but that didn’t stop the feral little guy from trying to take a chunk out of his rescuers.
In the creche, the caretakers were able to see another side of the little hellion: strong, protective instincts. Poor Ratchet almost lost a hand to the bugger when he was attempting to give vaccines to the little ones. Kup would have laughed, but he had his hands full with his own creche (especially Hot Rod).
Ironhide was arguably the first adult Blades trusted. This led him to let other adults into his small circle of trust. But Ironhide was the one he went to when he had more sensitive issues. Ironhide was also the one who taught Blades basic fighting.
