Contemplation of the waves (Levi & Desmond)

Shaking his head internally at the students rushing around and expending far too much energy than they even had - and fully expecting to get a whole lot of the students in the first-aid room later asking how to fix this or tend to sore muscles from this later - Desmond had decided to take a brief walk around the island surrounding the academy. It seemed like a much better usage of his time than making himself tired just WATCHING the young ones in the gym.

No doubt he'd have to go back soon, however, the fact he hadn't taken an observant quick glance around the island itself of yet was not good for work - what if someone got injured outside, and he wasn't able to assist them due to not knowing the basic layout of the island as well as he may like? Perhaps he was being negative again, but better to be safe.

Ah, the outside of the island was truly a natural wonder indeed: despite preferring to read and make archaeological discoveries in a subtle and quiet manner, and not go outside as much, even he couldn't help but admire the beauty of the waves.

No, he couldn't let the waves affect him this much. Hm, but...it seemed a student was out here, too.
