I can't take it anymore. Yesterday was such a good day, then she lost her shit this morning. Literally. Aside from tearing up the door she also pooped all over the house and shredded all her pee pads. I don't know what else to do. I made her a vet appointment on Thursday and I texted the dog trainer we did class with. I have GOT to figure out what to do to help this poor little dog before she really hurts herself, tears up my apartment completely, or gets out and gets lost because she's looking for me. I cannot handle the level of stress in this little dog. She's been doing so much better with the separation anxiety, but neither of us really slept last night with the firework noises making her nervous. She was already kind of on edge and tired this morning before I had to leave. While I was at my appointments I watched her attack the front door on skype, and I was able to tell her to stop enough that she didn't hurt her paws this time. She did, however, take the entire weather strip off the door :-/. Twenty minutes of door reinforcements later everyone is calm. Of course I stress ate Bojangles for breakfast.....good job, Sara.
