I am officially starting to try to strech my right ear lobe Idek how much i’ll go far with this :/ does someone of you know any tips, suggestions or advices? Just to know😘
Argh. I've been at 4g for... months now. Most of the year, probably. I've noticed lately that my silicone tunnels feel a bit loose and they're extremely easy to removed. So I figured it was just naturally time to move up to 2g. Nope. I just can't get that bugger in there. Grrrrrrr. It's like I'm stuck right between 4g and 2g. I have some teflon tape, but the only solid plugs I have in 4g are steel and I'm not supposed to wear those to work. WHY EARS. WHY.
Something I learned today- If your 12g taper falls out and you don't put it back in for a whole day, it will shrink all the way down to an 18. Now one ear is at a 12 and the other is at a 16 (I stretched the 18 to a 16) this is upsetting 😢
I have finally reached my goal size of 8G. After starting at 18G I tapered my way down to 10G then taped my way up to 8G. I used jojoba oil massages and spent time going jewelry-less for a few hours every couple of days.
Yay!
With some gentle persuasion and a bit of warm water, I managed to slide my taper up to the full 3mm. So now I have 1 lobe at 1.6mm and the other at 3mm c:
Yesterday I sized up one of my lobes (I only had 1 taper). It's a 3mm taper but I couldn't get it all the way through, I'd say it's probably sitting between 2mm and 2.5mm? That isn't bad considering I was 1.6mm before. It's still a bit tender, but once it heals up some more I think I'll try and slowly work it up to the 3mm.
I need to be careful with it because I think I may have irritated the fistula a little bit. It's hard to tell whether it's tearing or I'm just being a pussy. I'll guess we'll just see how it goes.
I started my earlobe stretching journey today!! I only ever had normal, 18g holes, so I've sized up to 14g. My current plan is not to exceed 15mm, possibly 20mm if I happen to find some really nice jewellery that is worth sizing up for.
I'm excited!
