My ears are 500% refusing to stretch up, plz help

I woke up to my ear all swollen so I had to take out my tunnel. I hope it doesn't shrink too much :/

These tapers will not go through my ear? Normally when Im going up a size, I put in the tapers and pull them completely through the hole to make sure I got to the end and then I put them back in or put in plugs. These tapers stop and the very end and I can't get the rest through.

Something I learned today- If your 12g taper falls out and you don't put it back in for a whole day, it will shrink all the way down to an 18. Now one ear is at a 12 and the other is at a 16 (I stretched the 18 to a 16) this is upsetting 😢

I got a minor blowout on one of my ears (unintentionally stretched too fast.) Luckily I caught it as soon as it happened and it's gone now.

I'll wait a little bit before stretching that piercing again to make sure the blowout doesn't return.
