Karen and her baby girl have been finding that the most common chest-to-chest positioning in their stretchy wrap isn't the most comfortable for the little one. She seems to have some stomach discomfort and prefers to be held in a more sideways position. Here she is in a "seated sideways" position that means there is no tummy pressure at all, but baby is still close enough to kiss and able to breathe safely, well supported by snug fabric. Baby is resting in a tall tick mark ✔️shape, not curled up. I had the utmost pleasure a couple of weeks ago of supporting two delightful dads as they prepared to begin building secure attachment relationships with their new baby son. I met them with their surrogate (while she was still pregnant!) to help them learn how slings work... and clearly I did a good job because look at this! Baby arrived and is already enjoying snuggles with his Dad in a fantastically well tied and positioned stretchy wrap. Amazing in every way.
