thats a good point! it's true gwen tends to be self conscious and can lash out at others for it... part of the fun of gwourtney for me is them making it work despite this though, and trying to better themselves in the process :> though gwen is sometimes emotionally fragile, shes still a calm person and i think she could still support courtney very well actually... thats my own interpretation though

yeah i think your gwourtney works are some of the best ones bc they seem more concerned with both personalities, cuz a lot of people just kind of ship it for the sake of courtney or gwen having a girlfriend, not taking enough advantage of them both being great characters with potential to have a good dynamic (which even the canon squandered).

i think using inspiration from the dynamic of dunc/ney while having gwen be less snappy and condescending towards courtney is my favorite way to see it, cuz like you said gwen is calmer and able to support people. she needs a little support back though, even if she’s afraid to show it.

HI have u seen the news about the upcoming bnha movie ?? apparently hori said he'll be using ''something he had originally planned for the final battle of the manga'' in the movie to surpass izuku + all might fighting together in the last one... tbh i didn't even watch that movie cause i'm not a fan of bones' writing of the characters and stuff, but this makes me feel like horikoshi might actually be more involved in the writing process this time. what do you think? :3c

Did you see the poster for the second bnha movie it screams bakudeku rights

my doubts first: the script writer for this movie is the same as the last on (which is to say, the script writer for the anime which i too am :/ abt re:characterization) and horikoshi is, likewise, once again acting as general supervisor (and doing original character design) and in an interview (the one with oda iirc) he mentioned that he wanted to do more for the movie but ultimately couldn’t due to schedule restraints (i don’t envy weekly serialized mangaka). 

that said, horikoshi’s input for the movies is clearly centered on the main premise, the last one being all might’s backstory and deku & all might fighting together, and since, considering the promo image, i think it’s pretty safe to assume the main premise of this one will be bakugou & deku fighting together, i’d like to think that he’d give a good amount of attention to the way they and their relationship are written :0

and the now pluralized ‘you’ in “you’re next.” made me lose my shit despite my general disinterest in the movies so that’s got to count for something lol

i'm. so disappointed that the story seems to be leading up to todoroki being part of the big three. it's so boring and uninspired

i don’t know if they’re actually going for bakugou deku & todoroki as ~a group~ or if this is just a result of endeavor becoming increasingly more important to the plot but i will say that when todoroki is treated like one of the main characters it bores me to tears

yes exactly... tbh most of the time the only moments i really find him entertaining are when he's being a somewhat gimmicky dumbwitted backgroundcharacter reacting to story stuff from the sidelines
