Where earth and sun meet by awaylaughing is one I can think of from the top of my head. Other than that one though, I can't think of others at the moment, sorry! Most of the fics I've seen with this trope sounded great in theory, but the actual story was less stellar orz

yeah it’s the 10c with the butterfly thing and the 20c with the kiwi bird on it which have been around 4ever im pretty sure??? idk i went to new zealand once but it was like 3 years ago now

yeah those are the old ones both coins have different maori carving based designs on them now & the 10c is brown & all the coins are waaay smaller (our 50c is like the size of the australian 20c)

ya honestly at work i take new zealand 10c and 20c like they're the same size i dont even care although once i accidentally took a $10 note bc they're both blue and i was like mISTAKE. ppl also often give me nz two dollars (same size as our 1 dollar i think) by mistake and im like no friend....i just need 1 dollar

that must be our old 10c and 20c tho unless australian currency changed too... our 10c piece now is like, barely bigger than my thumbnail it took sooo much getting used to but it makes carrying change way lighter

ljGNDFF YEAH the one dollar coin being the same size as our $2 weirded me out sooo much when i went to aus oh man my cousin told me he had this trick where he glued two 5c pieces together & vending machines would accept it as $2
