A companion piece to my baby Jango Concord Dawn festival garb concept + two unfinished Bodie Taylor Alpha-class ARC trooper cadet sketches, a concept for Jaster’s stinky old farm strill (tentatively named Ijaat), a baby Jaster doodle, and an unfinished doodle of Jango while he was enslaved.

I wanted to design a ‘Mand’alor’ version of Baby Jango’s traditional face paint. The pattern on his nose represents mythosaur scales, the jaig eyes represent courage in the face of adversity, the green paint represents his duty to his people, the red paint honors Jaster/his birth family/ancestors & the past, and the white paint represents a new start and the future of his people, and the rest represents the face of a buy’ce.

Or at least Delta Squad (and Mird). It’s a shame we don’t know more about Vau's other squads.

I wanted to make a rough drawing for May the 4th, but I just can't seem to draw armor in a simple way. So of course, I'm late this year again.

I started with a rough style for Sev and ended up with a cleaner one for Boss. In the end, I had to rework the characters several times so they would all look consistent.

I used Magic Poser Web to make the reference for the whole drawing. I initially planned a more classic back view of the characters, but while experimenting with the tool, I ended up liking the top view better.

For Mird, I used this nice walking dog 3D model to help with the anatomy (along with some Shar Pei references). I reused my previous design I made for it, but this time I fixed the legs so it has four back legs instead of four front ones. I tried several poses for the front leg and ended up choosing the one that felt the most dynamic. I'm pretty proud of the result.

Art block has been hitting me hard for a few months and all I’ve been able to draw are OCs, but I haven’t been able to finish them. So, I thought I’d post all the unfinished drawings at once! I won’t say I’ll never finish these, but it’s unlikely, and I want them to see the light of day.

A lot of these drawings would’ve never happened without inspiration from my good friend, @craziest-in-the-guild ! 🥰

Low effort Vau and baby Mird to cure my art block ^^

Consistently amused by the thought of weird Sith experiment animals/hybrids just. Existing in pods or hidden Sith caches on Coruscant and proceeding to get found by the odd Guard Squad who proceed to adopt any that don't eat them.

The current brainworm is a Striil/Tuk'ata hybrid, maybe a chrysalide for funsies. Something big and terrifying, esp with the strill ability to glide? On Coruscant??? Busted build 12/10. (Possibly considered a failed experiment bc breeding out loyalty and spawn protection in a creature that stubborn and long lived wasn't going well)
