I enjoy many theories about how Spamton became the way he is, but puppetification has to be one of my faves. RN exploring the idea of him being puppetified from string growing and bursting out of his flesh. The idea of his skin breaking apart while string burrows and entangles around his flesh is so horrible that I have to use it.

String theory AU-

I can see Pinkie Pie being able to figure out how to share how she sees strings. Probably only with immortals or anyone who can conjure up enough magical energy for it. So Celestia, Luna, Cadence, and eventually Twilight.

Celestia’s first experience with seeing strings was a bit chilling. Imagine the mare who’s practically been a second personal student of yours, your personal students only friend from childhood besides her brothers. Now imagine seeing her magical potential and how many branching paths she has. She could turn out like discord or nightmare moon. She could become something worse. She could become something far stronger than you can feasibly imagine. She could just become a regular pony. Or someone like you and the other Alicorns. So many possibilities!

Celestia found out quickly that being able to see and interact with magic on that level is terrifying. She is surprised Discord didn’t go mad sooner. She is surprised Pinkie Pie hasn’t. She has a healthy respect and fear for Pinkie Pie.

Pinkie pie is slightly confused why Celestia started treating her differently. Strings can be overwhelming for many if not most ponies but it seems she wasn’t necessarily scared of the strings themselves. Was she afraid of her? What did her strings….look like?

Okay this... THING is finally done.

Every since I wrote my String Theory fic I was thinking about this alternate reality where the same events happen but Spamton stays in TV World, and the domino effect leads to Tenna getting fucked up too. It's like a swap AU but instead they are just both insane together! How sweet!

Thinking of naming it something like the New Contract AU but maybe I'll change it later lol.

More string theory posting while I continue to work on the fic, mostly just showing the various stages of Spamton's puppetification and the symptoms associated with them.

I imagine it was a slow process that happened over the course of days, with symptoms that he actively hid from the people in his circle until it was too late to do anything about it.

Tenna waved a hand in front of Spamton, trying to save things. “What my lovely co-host is trying to say is that we are proud to announce that TV TIME is becoming a two man show, with the Email Guy being an official, permanent member of the cast! MIKE! Show our viewers the new title!” A giant,  lovingly crafted, neon-lit sign lowered behind them reading ‘Tenna & Spamton’s TV Time! “Isn’t it beautiful folks! What do you think, Spam?!” He said both in character but with a smile that was genuinely eager to see his reaction. Spamton blinked, staring at the board for an uncomfortable amount of time. “I…. I TH1NK [you ruined my life!]”

Finally got the next chapter of my super angsty AU fic out! YAY!
