Flowerpuff / Cobra hunts a frog, Iti Trehan
The painting is an acrylic work on canvas base. Use of high quality materials, it had been made with a pthaloblue, black and turquoise backdrop and like floating clouds opens up a variety of options for the beholder depending on their perspective. To name a few some may see a snake with open fangs hunting a frog. Other may see bunch of flowers..Or UFO bursting .. Umbrellas...Mushrooms. The rest of the painting has been done using Acrylic dipped Strings and Kite threads in colours like Purple, Yellow Ochre, Orange. Takes one to a dreamy world of imaginations.

String-painted images similar to Rorschach tests. Pamela used this for a “free paint Friday” activity for her middle school art students, so I decided to put one in my Sketchbook. I used four strings. After dipping each in a separate tempera paint (red, blue, yellow, and green) I removed excess paint then drooped them on the page. I then closed the book and held the pages flat with one hand and tugged the strings out from the pages: “voila—string art!” What do you see? I see birds in flight. Well art Therapy is real. I walked into my appointment highly annoyed and on the verge of a Hulk Smash moment that would have not ended well. The lady that comes into the treatment office every Tuesday didn't even let me say no to today's project. Paint, string, a book and this is what I "made" today.
