A warriorWhile other children may play with blocks or dolls, Lexa was trained to become a strong warrior, a defender of her people. Starting from the age of 2. The warrior spirit lives inside her, runs through her blood, it’s all she has ever known. There was very little time for such things as games. 

Leader’s secondHer parents were taken from her at early age, both being warriors themselves were claimed in battle. Anya, who became her mentor around the age of 7, was the one who raised her. Their relationship ran deeper than a warrior and her second, Anya was her family. The third person in her life she had come to love. 

LoveCostia. Her first love and the girl who showed her there was more than being a warrior. She was the light in her life. If she wasn’t training, her time was spent with her. 

CommanderAt the age of 16, Lexa was called to lead her people and became commander of the woods clan. One thing she had set out to accomplish, was bring peace. It however had come at a great price. The girl she loved had been taken from her, torture and killed.. her head in a box had been sent back to her as a message from queen Nia. There was no justice for her, no blood for blood. Instead with the common enemy, Lexa could force the ice nation into her coalition, that day she became commander of all 12 clans. From the age of 16, into young adulthood she was the leader of all clans.

               “Your warriors are impressive,” Lexa commented, watching the valkyrie’s men sparr with fascination ---- they were so much like her own; brutal, ferocious, holding nothing back and savage in their attacks. Certainty a force to be reckoned with, the makings of a valuable ally or a worthy enemy; which category they fell into, Lexa was unsure, as of yet, but the armistice between her people and Lagertha’s held, for the moment.

Bronn could not quite remember how the fight started, but he knew he would be the one to finish it. He was in a Wildling community over the wall; work’d been hard to get recently in The North, so he sought his sights elsewhere. Besides, he knew he was one of the only men brave enough to cross into the wild territory. Many men were AFRAID of the Free Folk; Bronn just embraced them. The fire illuminated his opponent in the dark night, and there were shouts of glee in their direction. There were no weapons pulled; this was a fight of brute strength. He caught a hard punch to the face, which sent his drunk ass right to the ground. But being on the ground gave him an advantage. Bronn swung his leg out and took the Wildling down, wrestling him before pinning him to the icy ground. That was when the laughter bubbled right out of him, making him bellow in joy. His opponent followed suit, and he helped the other guy up. “I think this means -- another round for everybody!” He shouted, pumping his fist into the air, the other wrapped around his knew friend that smelled like SHIT. There was a loud cheer in response before steins clinked together and Bronn sat by the fire once more. There was no doubt that all eyes were on him and his little group of ruffians. 

           In spite of his intoxication, he heard the snow crunching behind him and raised an arm “S’all right -- jus’ a friendly fight...”

                    Invaders ---- as if it wasn’t enough that she faced war with the Ice Nation, now Luna’s territory had been set upon by invaders from the sea, a savage people not unlike her own and yet, so very different. Needless to say, however, as soon as Luna’s request for reinforcements arrived, Lexa had ridden to the sea with a contingent of her best ---- one hundred and fifty warriors that had been hand-picked by her, personally, the elite of her guard, the pride of her army and the most loyal to her command. She couldn’t afford to fight a war on two fronts ---- this new threat must be dealt with quickly.

All in all, they made rather good time, making it to Luna’s village before mid-afternoon. As soon as camp had been pitched, a rider was dispatched, flying a white flag of truce, along with terms --- the trespasser's leader, along with a contingent of ten warriors, to meet her on equal terms.

“Lagertha!” Helga called, her voice reaching Lagertha long before the sight of her would have. She wove through the mass of people until both women could clearly see each other without hinderance. Her smile was exuberant and welcoming as she offered her good friend a hand while she climbed out of her boat.
