Georgetown Duel
So on Thursday my coach put me into stroke seat for the first time. Then we had a practice 5k with me as stroke yesterday. And I hate being stroke because I'm awful at it. Does anyone have any tips?

PSA FOR ALL STROKE SEATS (or anyone who has trouble with pace)
So I’m a stroke but I’ve always had issues with my ratio,
And we had this other stroke seat who was incredible but she hated stroking so my coach had me stroke.
And then people were like wait what if she was a really good stroke seat because she plays all of these instruments and so she has a good sense of tempo?
And I am musically challenged and I have issues with the ratio

(I’m not 100% sure if this works or not because I haven’t been able to test it)
when I’ve been running for crossfit I started snapping my fingers along/running the the pace of the music. This helps me find a tempo and theoretically should help the ratio once we are back on the water.
I am not 100% sure this will work but I’m getting better at clapping along to the beat whenever a song plays
