While all of this change is going on around me, one thing stays constant:

I miss you so much every day.

Switching out my memory box stuff from a cardboard to plastic container resulted in a long while meandering down memory lane.  Old and older pictures, cards, letters, poems (dang, I used to write all the time, wtf happened?!), trinkets . . . the list can go one but again, there was one constant feature . . . YOU.

I just hope you know, somewhere in your heart, how much I wish everything could be different.  How much I wish that life hadn't dealt these cards, played this hand, and folded a friendship that meant everything to me.

I just wish it had meant the smallest bit of matter to you.
