Criminal Minds 3.06 | About Face
In what episode do Rossi and Strauss first show a love interest?
Well that…. is complicated. But we first get the idea that there’s … something more to their relationship than we know in the opening to 7x23 Hit. And like most of Erin and Dave’s canon it is only the briefest of moments.
Anyone else still missing Strauss and Strossi?

New fanfiction
Erin Edwards a young, new agent in the FBI meets David Rossi, an SSA agent, 4 years her senior. Even with a rocky start to their relationship, they quickly find themselves falling for each other. As their lives further entangle, Erin learns more about her past and why her father moved her and her six sisters to the states after their mother died. Joining the FBI changed Erin's life in the way she least expected, but will it be for the better?
Erin had this pair of heels she knew Dave loved. He never told her so, and yes she wasn’t a profiler, but that didn’t mean she didn’t know how to notice human behavior.
She wore them sometimes when she was pissed at him, and never even looked his way as she walked by.
Strossi love looks.
I have a lot of feelings about Erin Strauss and David Rossi.
They have a hell of a history. They both clawed their way up the chain of command and they both stepped on a lot of people on their way.
They were smart, dedicated, and damn good at their jobs. They became leaders and experts and they were untouchable. And they were young and they were selfish and they really should have made better decisions.
But they didn’t and people got hurt. They did things they’ll never be forgiven for. And honestly they don’t expect to be.
Then they grew up.
They grew up twenty years too late, but that’s how it went and that’s what they did.
She had a family she never fully checked in to, and he kept moving so he never had to worry about roots.
And then came the BAU part two.
Dave came back for his own personal private reasons, and he had the connections and he went over her head. Erin was headed straight for top and he was the last thing she needed back in her life. All he ever did was confuse her.
And he started working with the team and they changed him. And it was when they backed her into a corner that she finally let them change her too.
They had one year. One beautiful, tolerant, infuriating, exciting, amazing year.
It should have been longer.
But that’s all they got. And if you asked them they’d tell you it was more than they deserved.
