The residency at AIC concluded a few weeks ago. :( Since then i've not posted much. I changed the name (but not the url) to TB 3DP AW which translates to Tom Burtonwood (me) 3D Printing Art Works - i sense this acronym will be upgraded in the future but it works for now.
To be fair it's taken a good 2 - 3 weeks to get the studio set up back in at my Secret Base. We upgraded the facilities with a Makerbot Z18 and an Occipital Structure scanner - both of which are featured in this post. We also rearranged a bit and got things cranking away.
Makerfaire NY beckons - the new business - Mimesis ( http://mi-me-sis.com ) is making some headway. The new semesters are starting. A new schedule. I'll be in NY for MFNY with Holly, and then out to Baltimore and Madison as visiting artists. Hol and I have a show in Springfield too at the University of IL. So it will be another hectic semester no doubt.
