Today marks 250 years since Denmark executed Doctor Johann Friedrich Struensee, and killed all hope of entering the Enlightenment. This caused the country to remain pretty ethically backwards for a good few decades longer than basically everyone else, and proves that when you try to get us to do something, no matter how good an idea it is, we Danes will absolutely not do it.
