"As have I, fine woman! But that does not make the fall more pleasant!" he chuckled with a loud booming laugh, moving behind her on the ledge "-soon, our salvation will be reached, and we can radio for an air-pickup from that village across the hills!"

Kate wouldn't admit she was slightly nervous, crossing her arms over her chest and straightening her spine to seem taller.           "I'm starting to question why I agreed to this."

"Look out! Fair woman! There is a boulder coming towards you!"

Loki looked at the man then the large rock coming towards her with a small sigh. She figured she had two choices: A. get rid of the rock before it hurts someone B. simply sidestep it and let it continue on  it’s path. Deciding on choice A, she opened up a portal to Svartalfheim in front of the boulder and closed it once it was gone.
