it’d be unrealistic to think that the night in the hotel room together in ‘06 was a one-off thing— even with the way things played out with your knee and yours and bucky’s falling out with steve. but here the three of you are, thirteen years later in yet another hotel room, only you’re all older, wiser, and fresh off an invigorating tennis match courtesy of phil’s tire town. even with the contention still thick between you all, history’s got a funny way of repeating itself (or refusing to let sleeping dogs lie).
