Maybe not many people here know this but there's are several huge protests currently ongoing in India. We are seeing fascist government and police brutality. Police are beating up teenagers in the country's capital.
Renowned Scientist has been on hunger strike for almost 25 days now. He got abducted by the cops and forces to be hospitalized. Literal children are getting beaten up, being targeted by tear gas and stones.
We are witnessing what must have been life under British Conisation.
And all these because some children want good education and teachers and professionals want the same for our country's future.
Instead this is what we are seeing. I don't know if Tumblr is a space you talk about this or not.
But since last 2 days I'm breaking down in tears every now and then it's so difficult to accept that this is what our country gives us after taking 30 to 40% tax from people like us.
We give tax on what we earn, on what we spend on what we buy. In return our future gets beaten up.
I just feel so hopeless right now. Please pray for this country.
