Started off this Monday morning rather productively and made a start on a french assignment while listening to a winter acoustics playlist (which I think is actually from last year but nvm)

Happy Christmas (well... boxing day) to you all! I hope you’ve had a brilliant festive period thus far!

The challenge now is to figure out what to use these gorgeous notebooks for (I’m thinking maybe for lists or journaling - maybe some creative writing???) as I really don’t want to waste them!

I’ve seen a few of these circulating tumblr so I thought I’d join in too :)

A Year of Growth

In 2017, I: 

turned 17

sat my highers

actually got 5 As (!!!!!!!)

was awarded dux on top of that (!!!!!)

applied to uni

accepted an unconditional (!!!!!!!!!!)

actually kinda managed to keep a bullet journal?!?

Personally, I have..:

grown in confidence

begun to feel more comfortable being alone in crowded places

expanded my circle of friends

become much more confident when speaking my in target languages

The downfalls of this year:

work has been pretty stressful, I suppose

turns out learning to drive is more expensive than I thought it would be...

TL;DR: 2017 has been a pretty good year and I’m so excited for all the opportunities my 2017 self has given to my 2018 self.
