If I am dead credit the personal statement. I'm still so terribly torn between compsci and classics (the alliteration makes me smile) and every single person i ask in biased in some way or form. If only I could just shove everything about me into a machine and it spat out options. My current thought is to apply for both and let my future self decide.
♤ maths: some past paper questions
♤ finished both personal statements

trying to write your personal statement is like being shot repeatedly in the head
my mum was comforting me about my fears that english and creative writing (the degree i’m applying for) will be replaced by ai.
she said:
“in the future, it will come full circle and people will get so tired of ai writing and ai movies that, if anything, those with money will pay human talent more because those creatives will be the only ones who can be BOTHERED to do the work.”
and that really stuck with me.
love u mum
alevels arent real big ucas is lying to you
got accepted to my dream uni 🥹
Why do i have to write a whole ass personal statement? Why can't i just say, "i like maths and i don't like people," and get accepted?
