Dream inside a dream?
Sorry, a well inside a well. That sounds kinda familiar.
Also with that hairstyle, death was inevitable for Narihisago's wife.
All that aside, I think with each episode this anime gets a bit better.
Insert song by MIYAVI?
Yes please.
This anime so far, after 4 episodes, is not too bad. I do question some things that I feel are a bit weak, but it's entertaining and interesting enough for me to overlook it at this stage.
Been wanting to watch this since it aired and just got around to it.
It's definitely interesting and engaging. The concept is okay. Even though the whole going into the mind thing to solve crimes has been done before. But we did get an unexpected twist at the end.
I'm sure there'll be more to this anime story wise. The animation was pretty neat. (Except I watched it while I was kind of tired and the opening scene left me with a headache). The soundtrack also stood out and gets a thumbs up.
So, I've added this to my list and will wait out my three episode rule.

Okay but I am truly, honestly angry about how little the creators of the DMMd anime seem to care about the quality of the show.
The anime should not be as badly animated as it is. There is literally no excuse for it. The animation is choppy, the art is inconsistent, and they don't even bother with getting the colors right sometimes (as shown by the far away shots of Sei and young Aoba). It's just plain lazy. I realize I'm not an animator, but I can tell lazy work when I see it. And it gets worse with each episode.
I have never seen any anime that said "we just want to cash in on a popular franchise and we don't care if the result is shit" as much as this anime does.
Reasons why Hamatora is a Dramatical Murder's copycat
Reason 1: THE LOGO, THE DAMN LOGO! RE...and even the ":"!
Reason 2: You have a (gay) cool main character that walks with headphones.
Reason 3: You have a main character with a single glove in his right hand.
Reasons 4, 5 and 6: You may try, BUT YOU'LL NEVER BE AS COOL AS CLEAR!
Ok, now I'll be honest. I'm just butthurt because the animation of Hamatora is better than Dramatical Murder's one.
DMMD Fans,
the anime is being produced by Studio Naz - who did Hamatora.
Just thought you would wanna know.
