. . Interesting way of "connecting" the mains' earth to the unit in this mains plug... . Never had the time to deal with my own #Deltalab #DL2 #Acousticomputer (very special and early eighties) digital delay line... but when I shaked the mains plug before connecting it to an outlet, I sensed something unusual, like if the cable was not clamped to the plug. And bingo! Not only the clamp is completely missing, but (not surprisingly) the earth conductor has been disconnected from its contact inside the plug... because of that missing clamp! 😪 . So, before I buy a fresh-new mains plug (complete with its cable clamp), I will redo the plug's inside connections so I can at least test the unit correctly. .
