Idk if it's been asked yet, but how did abel lose his game?

Abel having some much needed free time for his hobbies🐜🐜🐜🐜🐜
I loveeee thinking of PRE-Roadblasters CABEL so much because Dr. hasn't realized who they're meant to be just yet and Turbo is stressed out of his mind every single day, they both have all this pressure bearing down on them to keep up appearences...
They gravitate towards eachother whenever they have the time, whenever they find an excuse.
They enjoy being around eachother. It can't be anything more than that. Not with the expectation to be one thing, pretending to be what others WANT them to be.
For Dr., Turbo is easy to talk to, he doesn't focus on Dr., doesn't question them or prod them for deeper feelings. Turbo talks about himself and Dr. can just listen.
For Turbo, Dr. is a bit weird. He likes to have someone less popular than him around, it makes him feel important! Dr. doesn't mind, doesn't get annoyed, they smile and nod and listen. They can talk about karts at length. Turbo feels he can coach or teach Dr. in social situations. Turbo can feel like he's being very gracious to a newer less popular game!
The surface level conversations are easy to have, SAFE to have, anything deeper, anything more potent and real... sends either of them spiraling. That's for them to grapple with back in their own games. 🏁
Life/Blog Update:
Hey Study Bugs!
First of all, I apologize for not posting so often this past semester, especially towards the end. This past year has been the most difficult in terms of classes from my entire university career. Also, I finished my thesis on Batesian mimicry in insects and it was approved and passed! Woo! (omg so many sleepless nights)
Luckily, I have one semester left (if all goes well) and I will be graduating with a Bachelors of Science in Biology in December!
Also, I don’t think I have mentioned, but I will be spending the summer working in an ecology lab as a field/lab research assistant. I will be assisting in a project that deals with how evolution and parasitism drive the ecological processes affecting damselfly diversity and the dynamics of sexual selection in the wild.
Along with this I will be conducting my own research on sexual mimicry in damselflies.
Fun fact: the term for damselflies in Spanish translates to “the devil’s little horses”.
Hopefully I’ll be able to take pictures and share some of my summer research adventures with you all!
If you have any questions about my past classes, my degree, university life, how I got a research assistant position, etc. please feel free to ask via inbox or the new messenger! Let’s talk! :)
Here’s to a wonderful summer!
Oops!
Sorry Study Bugs!
I’ve been really busy with exams and my thesis work. I’m also busy applying for research positions and going through interviews.
I’m applying to one in particular that is based in ecology with entomology work, so I hope I get it! We’ll see.
I was recently sent a couple of cicadas from a farm in Thailand and they are waiting for me to mount them. Once they’re mounted (hopefully this weekend) I’ll post them up!
Let me tell you: They’re beautiful!!!
Till next time!
