Anticipation
I am waiting for a post I wrote for an R facebook group to post. I’m hoping someone can help me figure out what is wrong with my code because it looks like I’m writing the syntax correctly yet it is not working. Then I can finish the paper I’m working that exaimines dissociation among patients at a safety net hospital and differences in dissoication scale preformance based on childhood trauma exposure. I want the draft done!
I have an interview tomorrow for a part-time temp study co-ordinator position. I have another interview Thursday of next week for a community based participatory research coordinor position. I had just given up hope on hearing back from them when I got a message Monday for the interview. The postion with the Thursday interview is full-time. While it would be less time to do my own work it would be better pay then the program evaluation I’m doing plus Instacart shopping. The program evalution told me they could do a certian budget then said they could do 2/3 of it. So yeah that’s not really financially sustainable though it is a great opportunity. I’d still do the program eval if I get the CBPR job. It would just mean more of my free time eaten away.
Oh I also wrote and sent emails to professors at a school that I hope to visit later this month. The reason for the trip is to visit a friend but I may as well see if I can met with some professors while I’m out there. I heard back from the first one tonight. She wants to schedule a phone meeting in June!
