when your brain finally says, “ok maybe enough staring at walls” after a real bad shutdown for a frustratingly long time - and then you're buried in books for hours at a stretch, forgetting dinner. and you're quietly cursing at your brain for wasting so much of your time, keeping you away from all that fun.

currently studying real analysis and she's a real beauty. though her seduction is not quite helping with my majors-decision-anxiety. nonetheless, i'm having fun!

29.01.2020 // today i took aesthetic pictures of my bed. the bed that i actually napped in for like three hours because i felt like i was being physically weighed down by all my emotions and seasonal depression who is a JERK. but then i got up and i tidied my room a bit and i actually read through some of my chemistry notes and did an online quiz and maybe everything will be okay if i just take it one step at a time.

04.03.2020 // HOLY MOLY this library is BEAUTIFUL! those windows! that contrast of concrete and wood!! i’m obsessed with this place now ✨

i took one midterm yesterday, i have two tomorrow, and my last one is friday morning... i’m tired and mentally fried but i have to keep pressing on. one day at a time, right? i hope you are all having fantastic weeks!

18.02.2020 // brown sugar and cinnamon lattes are my faaaaaavorite. it’s been raining for solid weeks now with only having had a few sunny days here and there. it can be a real bummer on the mood, and make it hard to get out of bed each morning, but i’m trying to hone in on the “cozy vibes” until spring finally comes to brighten up the world.

14.01.2020 // serving major cozy vibes today. i’ve now been to all my lectures once but i still have two labs this week. one is later this afternoon so i took a midday break to sit down and gather myself and rest. i hope your tuesday is going well!

02.12.2020 // went for a happy yellow spread this week :) i’ve been so stressed this week... i had two tests on monday and i have one on thursday and one on friday. it’s almost like a mini finals week! i’m probably going to go thrifting this weekend to reward myself for working hard lol

01.03.2020 // spent the weekend at home. did some study (but not as much as i probably should’ve) but that’s okay. this week is going to h*ck because i have four midterms but then it’ll be spring break so i just have to buckle down and power through. also i found freaking Nike AF1s at goodwill yesterday??! just wanted to throw that out there lol

11 December 2019 // I think my brain is officially checked out for Christmas. I’m finding it really difficult to keep my brain in the game while I’m studying. Just one more week and I’m done!
