30 Day Studyblr Challenge | Day 4 - Your Latest Work
Nearing the send of the semester! I have to get this presentation done today if I have any hope of finishing that 5 page paper on time x’D Oh well! But I’m enjoying it, even if it’s a bit of a crunch; I really love learning about different cultures, and that’s been a really neat byproduct of this Land Art class! This presentation is like a prelude to my big grad essay for this class, so it’s a lot of “how did we see lines used and affect us from those things that lead up to the Land Art Movement”. Basically, Land art happened in the 1970’s as inspired by a lot of huuuuge earth “interventions” like Stonehenge and the Nazca Lines, and like…. well there’s a lot of just really obvious lines in the “antecedents” of Land Art and in a lot of classical and modern Land Art, and that’s really what I’m trying to explore with this report/presentation combo! Honestly I’m just lucky the teacher is so open ended on her assignments, because this feels super off the wall, but also it’s super interesting!!!
