more notes on the structure of a good screenplay, plus bonus notes on a lessons from the screenplay youtube video. i said this on my instagram, but i’ve truly learned more from one book on screenwriting than i ever did in film school. film school taught me a lot, don’t get me wrong, but in terms of what my goal always was? screenwriting? i think there were two available classes on the subject. two. and i took both. you truly don’t need film school to learn how to write a screenplay. that much is clear to me now!

2017.01.05 || Beginnings Hey all! I can finally say that I am officially a collegeblr/studyblr! I started on Monday and I love my professor for Math for Life Science. She's so open about why we're doing problems that we'll never see in the field. She said that we're covering this to learn to analyze problems. To learn procedures and to trust our gut feelings for what's right and what's wrong. Because sure, in math it's just a right or wrong answer, but in the medical field, it could be the difference between life and death for a patient. I'll never forget this, and it certainly makes this math course easier to get through.
