2017 - Resolutions & Things To Live By
1. Start journaling more often. 2016 was filled with emotions, and it’s easy to push them away. Write them down.
2. Read and write, words can create beautiful pieces of art whether its personal or shared with the world. Reading is knowledge, no matter how far computers go, books are forever.
3. Finish a sketch book. You’ve always wanted to do it, it’s something that you will find liberating and inspiring. Go make art, scribble on pages, throw paint down, or just collage something.
4. Get more sleep. You need it, whether you like it or not.
5. Spend more time with family, it’s not too long till you’ll be off to college and they’ll be missing you just as much as you’ll be missing them, if not even more. Sit down upstairs, do you’re homework near them, or just take them out for a meal. Spread the love.
6. Forget anyone who brought you down ever, people who forget about you are not worth your time and you deserve to be happy. It will hurt, and it will be difficult, but it’s important to cut the negativity out of your life.
7. Enjoy the little things, whether it be a dream you had, a memory from childhood, or just the way the sun hits the floor at school. Document it.
8. Eating healthy is so difficult sometimes, let’s start small. Let’s have at least 2 pieces of fruit and vegetables a day. (I know I’m supposed to have way more, that’s why it’s a resolution- duh!)
9. Explore, go once or twice, or more. Take pictures, but be involved.

How to handle getting a new teacher halfway through the year
I thought I’d write a post about this since my English teacher has just left and my class is going to be getting a new teacher. This has happened to me a few times in the past at crucial points in my courses, so I guess you could say that I’m a bit of an expert on this topic (don’t hold me to this).
Hello! Hi! Hola!
