FEBRUARY STUDY CHALLENGE - Day 13

When I take a break from studying I usually eat, go on social media, use duolingo or watch some TV.

This is probably not the best things to do. I do suggest having a snack or even eat your dinner, lunch whatever. You can read a book, do some homework (but that wouldn’t be really taking a break), you can exercise, and you can go on duolingo if you’re learning a language.

Do something productive! Read a book in your target language, watch a tv show or video in your target language. I’m watching two french kids shows to get better at my listening skills, Pocoyo (in french) and, Corneil et Bernie.

FEBRUARY STUDY CHALLENGE 2k17 - Day 8

I don’t usually listen to music while studying. If I was going to listen to music I would listen to something soothing like nature sounds. I sometimes watch TV while I study or do homework (which I should probably stop doing).

last year i got a 11" HP stream to do my schoolwork on, and if its on sale i highly recommend if you need a second one while your other one gets fixed. i know a lot of people at my school have had issues with other little laptops like it (Asus T100 is shockingly bad). its a little workhorse and if you're comfortable with the smaller size its perfect (and comes with a free year of microsoft office!) if you have any other questions i'm free to answer!

Oh I was looking at those! They were so cute! But in the end I decided on a HP Pavilion X360 11.6″ with touchscreen! And it’s in the prettiest mint green! 

But you’re definitely right about HP’s! The sales men tried to get me interested in Asus and Levono and I just refused straight up..

Sadly I had to pay more $$$ than I originally planned but I received a free BYOD Essentials Pack (worth $148), which included a wireless mouse, 32GB USB stick and a backpack which was exciting!! And I also get $100 AU cashback — so yay!

(im kind of new at this so would love some feedback on my look so far!) what's your top three things you have to do everyday? (apart from necessities like brushing teeth, eating etc ;) xx

the first thing i do every morning (besides hit snooze oops) is check my planner to see what all i need to get done

take care of my dogs (feed/brush them)

answer emails/messages 

pretty basic i guess!
