if anyone has any favourite films directed by women i'd really appreciate it if you sent them to me !!! was looking through my letterboxd and realised i've seen like 13 films directed by women this year, a bit pitiful given how many i've watched . so ! fixing that :^)

#EDIT: OR NB PPL !!!!!!!! would love love love to see more films directed by nb ppl too :^)#things to note (which i think u all understand but just in case today happens 2 b the day the hate anons come out):#1) i understand that directing is by no means the only important part of what makes a film a film + women r vastly underrepresented in p #much every area which is an issue + again . directors are not the only important ppl n we should give more credit 2 those who r doing other #stuff !!#2) films directed by men aren't inherently bad (obviously! i like a huge number of them!) and films directed by women aren't inherently #good and vice versa it's way more complex than that #BUT i would like 2 see more films directed by women !!!!!!!!! so ! that all said and done <3 if u have recs pls send them my way :^)
