As some of you know, I gave pretty much up on candy and crisps as a whole more then a year ago but there ARE few things I do indulge in. Not a lot but they do exist and I don't do it often.

I love mocchis (the simple ones with red beans), I sometimes get myself a bar of white nougat from NuCao (very seldom and only one bar which usually lasts a couple of days..my stomach isn't happy if I eat more then one or two pieces).

and then there is konjac jelly with vinegar...

I really, really love this stuff but it is only available at my local Korean store and they haven't had any for at least half a year. So guess how happy I was when I saw that it was back today. I bought six of those pouches (the cute guy at the cash register was rather amused...it wasn't the only thing I bought but the rest was more normal), which should last for at least a couple of months (I never eat the whole thing in one go but draw it out for at least a week).

What I love about it is really the vinegar. I start my day drinking water with vinegar or lemon (and some red beets, ginger and a dash of honey for flavour). We have this honey or cassis flavoured carbonated water with vinegar (I am mainly partial to the honey flavoured one), which I absolutely love and sometimes get, especially during the summer.

Not sure whether my taste buds are weird but there you go. I am really happy that I got some konjac jelly again today. 😊
