Additional headcanons :
-it’s considered very rude or offensive to invade the body of another Aburame with your hive if they did not consent first (rule bypassed if it’s for health matters)
-The Aburame does not particularly need to hide their bodyparts, they do it in order to make other Konoha’s clan more comfortable, especially civilians. They also cover up on mission in order to hide their pierced tenketsus points
-Its possible for an Aburame’s hive to invade a non Aburame’s body but this will cause damage to the ninja’s chakras path and is very painful = equally considered rude.
-If an Aburame show his Tenketsus points to you it’s a very important proof of their trust in you.
-They can share their vision with their Kikaichus and hide their consciousness into their primitive mind in order to escape trauma/pain and can be unable to regain control over their own consciousness and body afterall.
-Due to their unusual biology a lot of social cues escape them, like why people can have problems with homosexuality or transidentity (which is basically normal bug/animal behavior).
-You can find a surprisingly high number of aroace Aburame in the clan, their vision of romantic and sexual relation ship being affected by the sheer number of bugs reproducing in their body.
-same with their vision of death, tho it’s still a major and important event for them.
-Aburame loves to hangout with the Yamanaka clan because flowers. They do like Yamato for the same reason and will respectfully ask help with their gardens to him
-yes they have gardens, they also have a lot of terrariums and all sort of cool stuff for every bugs out there, not just kikaichus.
