Diavolo trying to Court Lucifer FT. Demon mating ritual/courting HCS

The idea of a quite recently made demon/ex angel. not understanding the underlining natures of true born demons is something I don't really think is really touched upon.

while by definition, Lucifer and brothers are now considered demon , very powerful ones in that - I would consider them distinctly different to true born demons, which are ofc demons Born as a demon/ A demon created in Devildom. (you can almost be endless on different types of demons, but for now - lets focus on two) now the genetic make up of the brothers aren't really much different to a true born but I could think of differences (reminder, these are HCs)

first, and most obvious, behaviours - Diavolo for example is more "open" and "true" for his demonic tendancies and is almost unforgiving by his demonic nature - as I would think demons doing immoral things such as for example killing someone was something of a normalcy in devildom

for Diavolo, he has no issues with using his abilities as a demon and a royal to take advantage of someone or something, if he has to

however, for Diavolo specifically, him taking advantage of others is something he prefers not to do, (or rather, he doesn't have to ask for, since he's a royal)

for the brothers, while they do "sin" they are less open to doing so (at least at first) due to being an originally Angels, it takes a while for their moral compass to shift.

this is not to say, as angels - they didn't do bad things of course :)

I could, go on on - but the point is - the brothers being ex angels, makes them different in terms of culture and normalcy they were created on - normalcy and cultural aspects within Devildom, could be completely unknown and alien to them. so things such as instincts a usual demon would have - isn't something that occurs to them.

Lucifer has been noticing some odd behaviours from lord Diavolo, and its kind of freaking him out a little

he isn't sure how to act or respond to this odd behaviour from Diavolo... but he's really trying to be professional..

for instance, he's been giving him really lavish gifts, like REAL REAL posh gifts for him

just last week Diavolo gifted him an at least a 10,000 dollar pure gold custom made watch, with angel like wings as decoration within the inside of the watch.. it was supposely made from the very same gold that dazzles lord Diavolo's body..

it wasn't his birthday any time soon or in the has been yet.. nor any holidays he could think of.. so it was a bit out of nowhere..

and just a few days ago he got Lucifer a new golden brooch to put on his suit. once again adorned in red jewels that matched Diavolo's.

this has at least been going on for a month now, on weekly new gifts, one more expensive than the last.

a new custom pen, classes, study desk, rare books, even artifacts...

throughout this past month, Diavolo has been undergoing weird habits as well.

for instance, every time he approaches or even sees Lucifer, he's always brushing up against Him, nudging his side playfully, hand gliding slowly over his shoulder, even brushing his lips along his pale hands and the shell of his ear.

this behaviour in particular is a rather new behaviour.. as he started doing it only a couple of weeks ago. since then, barb's face seemed to turn in an odd expression everytime he arrives at the castle, even his brothers (particularly mammon) mistaking Lucifer for Diavolo, or complaining about a strong scent in the air.. that seemed to distress his brothers alot as the days went by.

another behaviour he's been noticing, alot as of the last week, is Diavolo's tendancy to arch his wings long and wide, for periods of time, and often walking around Lucifer - as he went on about random things about duties.

Diavolo's wings seem to flutter in timed motions, like some kind of unconscious show or display that Lucifer had no idea he was attending, 24/7 hours of the day

sometimes, Lucifer would glance at this odd display as Diavolo talked, the display made sure the golden tips of his wings glimmered and the size of his wings arched and very much seen.

Lucifer started noticing such displays when he realized how odd it was - when upon locking contact with Lucifer, every, single, time - his wings seemed to slowly rise to life in display.

with no idea what these odd displays could mean, Lucifer would eventually turn to Barbatos for answer

and with a soft chuckle from Barb, and Lucifer's frown. Barb sighed

" it seems the young master is trying to Court you, Lucifer"

As Lucifer's face curls in confusion and eventual red in blush. Barbatos would explain:

when a Demon choses a possible mate, they undergo a long series of motions and acts to impress this mate, through aspects most important to a demon

Diavolo's first act: gift giving is his display of wealth and therefore reliability as a mate - he is able to provide more than enough conditions and comfortableness for his mate and eventual offspring

with Lucifer happily accepting these gifts, Diavolo goes to his next step - scenting

now seeing Lucifer is interested, he starts to make "reservations" if you will of his interest in being Lucifer's mate - so he brushes up against Lucifer, touching him as often as possible to rub a special scent made from demons specifically for mating.

in the case of Diavolo, his scent is especially strong due to his dominance being from Royal blood

thats why his scent is the most strong and therefore overwhelming to other, lower demons.

succesfully scenting Lucifer, Diavolo goes onto display his body, specifically his wings

for demons, a display of ones wings or horns is somewhat of a beauty standard within Devildom.

this bit is ment to interest the mate in finally choosing the him

by displaying how large he is through the wingspan of his wings as well as their beauty..

"so, what's next?" Lucifer said sternly..

Barb smirks "well if my estimations are correct, the young master will try and mate with you... when the time is right. he will release pheromones, indicating his readiness to mate. "

Lucifer with a beet red face, curls his wings and stumbles to his feet, getting some air.. to really process what's going on. After all..

it's only a matter of time before the Prince of Devildom lays claim to his Dove..

The bronze bracelet gives hints to the belic prowess achieved by the house of Laertes whilst the pearls allude to the future tragedies in which her sister Perseleia will use them to pay for the deaths wrought by war and her own father Poseidon as he thwarted Odysseus' arrival at every turn.

Additional headcanons :

-it’s considered very rude or offensive to invade the body of another Aburame with your hive if they did not consent first (rule bypassed if it’s for health matters)

-The Aburame does not particularly need to hide their bodyparts, they do it in order to make other Konoha’s clan more comfortable, especially civilians. They also cover up on mission in order to hide their pierced tenketsus points

-Its possible for an Aburame’s hive to invade a non Aburame’s body but this will cause damage to the ninja’s chakras path and is very painful = equally considered rude.

-If an Aburame show his Tenketsus points to you it’s a very important proof of their trust in you.

-They can share their vision with their Kikaichus and hide their consciousness into their primitive mind in order to escape trauma/pain and can be unable to regain control over their own consciousness and body afterall.

-Due to their unusual biology a lot of social cues escape them, like why people can have problems with homosexuality or transidentity (which is basically normal bug/animal behavior).

-You can find a surprisingly high number of aroace Aburame in the clan, their vision of romantic and sexual relation ship being affected by the sheer number of bugs reproducing in their body.

-same with their vision of death, tho it’s still a major and important event for them.

-Aburame loves to hangout with the Yamanaka clan because flowers. They do like Yamato for the same reason and will respectfully ask help with their gardens to him

-yes they have gardens, they also have a lot of terrariums and all sort of cool stuff for every bugs out there, not just kikaichus.

chapter 1 - it's good for me i'm sure

it was another year on the 9 ¾ platform, your third year to be exact.

you walked into the train with a heavy trunk dragging behind you as you looked for an empty compartment. you arranged yourself comfortably in the first empty compartment, tucking away your trunk before taking a seat with a book on your lap and starting up your walkman with kiss me, kiss me, kiss me by the cure being the first album rushing through your headphones.

you didn't expect company, you never did, when you first were sorted into slytherin you had been outcasted by some friends that you met on the train, who had ended sorted into gryffindor. after that you learned that newly sorted slytherins were granted an inflated ego along with the green and silver tie. other students believed you were a stereotypical slytherin and your fellow housemates assumed you weak because you minded your business and you never moved to prove them otherwise, finding no importance in their opinions. that also meant you had no friends only being people's classmate.

so that's why when a rushing ginger ran into your compartment thirty minutes after the train had started to hogwarts and locked himself in your compartment like a dementor itself had been behind him, you were caught off guard and blank staring at him. the lanky boy had not even noticed you until he took a breath and opened his eyes with a little jump at the notice of your presence. "hello?" he greeted with caution.

"hi." you simply responded equally cautious. the weasley twins were notoriously trouble in the halls and basically anywhere they stepped foot.

"sorry, do you mind harboring me for a second? you know, like a fugitive, i might have pissed off some of your fellow snakes and i rather not get skinned alive. unless you are not willing then i will go face them…" the boy ranted as he sat down across from you and ran a hand through his hair like he had been running the ministry.

"i don't mind. although i do have a question." you said pausing your cassette and slipping off your headphones.

"ask away." he said with a small welcoming smile as he noticed your poise.

"we have been on the rails for a mere thirty minutes, how did you accomplish the title of fugitive?"

"well you see…" george started and it felt like it never ended as he told the tale mainly blaming his twin brother for the situation. "and now here i am, chatting with miss mysterious. or more like talking your ear off."

"miss mysterious?" you questioned confused and still wary.

"well yes, i don't know much about you, but we have time." he stated looking down at his wrist and a nonexistent watch. "so, what do you got there?" he asked gesturing at the book now abandoned beside you and the headphones on your neck. it did not take you long to cave and explain the plot of flowers for algernon to the confused but curious boy then letting him listen to the snakepit on your walkman. he was mesmerized with the conversation you made and he enjoyed seeing emotion play onto your face as he joked. nearly two hours had swam past as you conversed with him surprisingly enough the conversation was not stopping not until someone aka george's near carbon copy walked in and dramatically dragged george out. george reluctantly left not before waving you off with a small smile.

after that all of third year he found excuses to talk to you and "randomly" bumped into your almost daily after dinner. all of fourth year as well continuously stitching himself into your life.

when fifth year rolled around you two were "too close" according to fred.

"george, that's stupid." you said blankly at the ranting ginger as he claimed conspiracy theories about dumbledore's phoenix on your bed as you sat multitasking at your desk jotting down notes for the upcoming O.W.L.s and listeneing to george in your tidy prefect room.

"you simply have no whimsy." he huffed as he turned over to prop himself up to look at you better. "when are you done with studying?" he asked as if he was growing tired of you staring at the never ending pages of the advanced transfiguration book.

"when the O.W.L.s are over." i told him as a looked up from my page to look at him.

"oh come onnn," he whined dramatically before suddenly remembering something, "i have a game this weekend. are you going? i can get you my spare jersey again." and you had been hoping he wouldn't bring it up.

"i'm not sure if i am going yet." you said simply looking back at your notes.

george sat up immediately, "what? why not? it is like the biggest game of the season. gryffindor versus slytherin right before playoffs. remember?"

"studying." you simply responded trying to end the conversation. but he knew better.

"no, you don't need to study. you would be fine without studying, why don't you want to go?" he pressed.

you briefly sighed and put your quill down to face him, "my parents are to attend this weekend's game."

he didn't know much about your family, only that if the rumors about your family were true, you might as well be adopted. an old money pureblood slytherin family, father and mother ministry court personnel for dark art cases, and that you were their only child. "okay, great, i get to meet the makers." george said attempting to stay positive.

"no, you shouldn't." you said quickly and seriously.

"why?"

"there is no reason for you to interact with them."

"you are my best friend and i am yours, has all that studying finally melted your brain? of course there is a reason." he said with blooming frustration.

"i rather you not speak to them." you said growing irritated and your walls starting to build.

"fine. i won't." george said noticing your irritation. "do they even know about me?" he asked without thinking.

"no. they don't. it is simply better without their interference." you said simply.

"my parents know about you." george said slightly offended.

"that is different."

"really? how so? please enlighten me." his offense growing.

"it just is." you insisted only wanting the conversation to end.

"no, i would really like to know why you believe hiding me is okay."

"george, i'm not hiding you-"

"you are!" he said cutting you off and standing from the bed as he grabbed his coat in anger slipping it on, "fine, don't go, i could not care less just like you seem to not care about the importance of our friendship."

"no, george you don't understand." you defended standing up and reach for him in an attempt to keep him here and explain but he just pulled away and left the room shutting the door behind him.

he didn't speak to you for days and you could only give him space. then when it was the day of the game he was running drills on the field to warm up but his eyes wandered as he scanned the bleachers for your presence. he spotted you and had to look again to make sure it was you. you were sat alongside presumably your mother and father who could have been mistaken for gargoyles. you were in full funeral black and a sleek emerald headband, george grew uneasy seeing your unusual look and demeanor. his worry grew as he watched your parents speak to you and seeing your stiff composed posture but the game was mere minutes from starting and he had to focus.

once the game started, george kept the worry in the back of his mind attempting to not look your way in worry of distracting himself from the action of the pitch. the game was incredibly intense with the rival houses going incredibly rough on each other. you watched with hidden worry as you watch george dodge yet another hit. the game was called to an end after an grueling two hours of near physical combat on brooms. there was no winner, only sour and irritated aggressive players from both teams leaving the pitch after dumbledore called the game for nonspecific safety reason.

you walked with your complaining parents off the bleachers while george was attempting to rush through a shower in the locker room in order to find you, disregarding the mess of a match. he dried his hair off as quickly as possible and changed into a long sleeve and jeans nearly tripping into his sneakers as he walked out of the locker room. you were still near the bleachers off to the side of your parents who spoke to the Lucius and Narcissa Malfoy who had been in attendance. he spotted you immediately and was close to calling your name but instead stood blankly staring at you speaking to adrian pucey.

"george! where is your brother?" molly called out to her son and that snapped him right out of his trance.

"probably changing, mom."

"hmm, good job out there son." arthur spoke.

"thanks." george said exhausted and his thoughts obviously elsewhere. you didn't get along with pucey, you hated him, then why were you there? was he forcing a conversation? were you even interested in whatever the bastard spat out? because there was absolutely no way that-

"george, mate, yoo-hoo! ya there?" fred said with a firm clap as he stood in front of his brother. "what is up with you? did you finally make up with your girlfriend?" he teased.

"not my girlfriend." george said with a huff.

"i'm going to assume that's a no then." fred said and looking at whatever george was still staring at. "no way, is that pucey with her?" he exclaimed watch me blankly looking at a talkative and cocky pucey with obvious repulsion.

"yes, yes it is." george said through gritted teeth.

"well don't blow his head off. come on, we have talk to the team." fred announced pulling his brother away from the sight and back to their locker room.

you soon escaped another mundane conversation from pucey with luck as you escorted your parents back to the entrance of the castle for their departure.

"focus on the upcoming O.W.L.s, dear." your mother said instead of an actual goodbye or caring phrase and your father simply nodded in agreement before they both turned away and started for their carriage. you did not loosen up until they were out of sight and you took a deep breath and finally pulled off the stupid headband.

"ouch. you okay?" a recognizable voice asked gently behind you. you spun around quickly looking up at george.

"george." you said.

"hey." he said quietly taking a step closer to take the headband off your hands. "this new?"

"a gift from my parents."

"you sure it isn't some device to make sure you study for your exams?" he joked lightly as he looked at the nice accessory. you just blinked with an unreadable expression before nearly tackling him into a much needed hug that he instantly reciprocated tightly, dropping the headband.

"i'm so sorry," you started as your head was tucked into his neck, "i don't want to hide you but if you were familiar with my parents you would understand why no one knows much about them and why i have to. they aren't kind and they don't know me at all, i don't need anyone to have know how they are because-"

"hey, it's okay, i understand. i forgive you, it's okay." he assured cutting off your rant and adding reassurance tightening the hug and topping it off with a kiss to the top of your head.

safe to say you never spoke about your parents again, not willingly at least.
