Felicia the Frog
Felicia was about to turn 37 when her person reached out earlier this year. Once upon a time, Felicia looked like the happy pink frog on the right:
But over time, her thin fabric wore, and she lost filling, and developed tears, and accumulated not just memories, but dirt and dust from her hugs and adventures. Here are some of her diagnosis photos:
even her bow was bedraggled!

To me she's as beautiful, pink, and sparkly as the day I got her, but I think she'd be happier if her holes were patched up. Can you help?
Of course, the answer was yes. :-)
Felicia began her stay with a gentle spa. She had mostly normal stuffing, but walnut shells in her toes which I set aside to reinstall later.
Her person chose a nice white with pink polka dots for her new fabric bow:
She had surgery, with some patches and some stitches, and soon she was healthy and whole and ready to fly home:
(that patch will fade really well over time, but for now it's a well earned scar!)
