The ghee that is changing my life (and skin) one scoop at a time :p The Vedic A2 that I have been using since months now certainly has a breezy healing, hydrating effect and is just so delicious. A drop on my rotis, half a scoop on my makhanas, and few drops on my face after the Sunday face pack. It's kind of been everywhere(the aroma is out of this world), so I thought I'll add it to my #stuffednstarvedrecommends :) Its hand-churned, made off milk from grass-fed cows and actually claims of medicinal props. When one speaks of clean, pure, natural eating, one needs to start with the basics that form a part of whatever we consume at home. The staples. Fat/Oils being one of the key staples in Indian cooking has been misrepresented for way too long in the name of benefits and farce claims. So let me share my 2 cents. 1. 🔸Any pack of oil that says No Cholesterol is just fooling you. Anything of vegetable origin can not and will not contain any cholesterol to start with. Thats like saying Humans produce Chlorophyll ha ha🍀So yes, don't fall for that age old marketing gimmick. See the nutritional label. Also, Desi ghee has fabulous levels of good cholesterol that 'must' be consumed in moderate amounts. A good, pure ghee in your everyday life will actually reduce bad 'LDL' levels too! 2. 🔸All branded Oils have taken up a carpet positioning of calling themselves out as heart-friendly merely cos they have some PUFA (Poly Unsaturated Fatty Acids), but in all scientific honesty, traditional fats like Ghee, mustard oil, Coconut oil- are FAR stronger in reducing your heart risk and the risk of pre-diabetes. Going overboard is just about always BAD, so everything in moderation is key. But Ghee is the do boond zindagi ke that I'd definitely give credits to for making my everyday better. 🍯#superfood @vedica2ghee Aditi (at Mumbai, Maharashtra) https://www.instagram.com/p/BtXo5oIlWLb/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=zvs1diy781k0
