"No, it was, uh... before Zooble showed up at the Circus, remember? The adventure in the forest with the really big trees. And the gnomes, with the pointy sticks."
It was an odd time in the Circus, one that feels a long time ago, now. Back before Zooble and Pomni, back when Kaufmo was still around. One of your first-ever adventures, when you were still adjusting to everything before a bunch of gnomes tried to stab you. Ragatha was chipper as ever, and you don't remember if you appreciated it or not at the time.
"And they tied Kaufmo up like they were going to roast him over a fire. Jax just said 'Let's see where this goes.' And I think a... a bear showed up? I can't remember super well..."
How long ago was it? It's best not to think about that. Instead of continuing the depressing reminisce, you take a moment to stir your tea, the spoon clattering around the ceramic. This is the kind of low-key thing you and Ragatha do when you spend time together in Spirale; light snack at a coffee shop, pleasant conversation, maybe some shopping. The sun is shining, the NPCs aren't bothering you, and you're actually in a decent mood for once. You like low-key. Boring is nice sometimes.
"At least when stuff happens in this place it's not as... explosive," you say, totally unaware you might be damning yourself. "Haven't gotten attacked or anything. It could be worse, right? Feels like I say that a lot lately..."
