B.O.T.D for June 14, 2013 goes to Eric Stults, SP, San Diego Padres.
We love Eric Stults and we love the 2013 Padres.
The Padres are build around young, exciting, offensive talent (Evereth Cabrera, Kyle Blanks, Carlos Quentin, Chase Headley) and veteran bum starters. (Eric Stults, Edinson Volquez, Andrew Cashner, Jason Marquis)
In fact, we think the Padres has a huge run left in them. Watch out N.L. West!
Eric Stults was the bum that got the job done on Friday night. Stults threw a 9 inning complete game, allowing only 2 hits and 1 BB, a dominating performance to say the least.
Before this season, 99% of baseball fans would have no idea who Eric Stults is, and the sad thing is that number probably hasn't changed much...
Stults is good, check him and his Padres out. You will not be disappointed.

Stults, 33, silenced the Nats bats, going 8 innings, allowing only 1 run, giving up 4 hits, and striking out 5.

By now you should understand pretty well what a bum is, and Stults is a huge one.
