This Violet Birthday Party Cookie Tree will help you celebrate in style! These purple-hued and delectable cookies are stacked together to make a stunning and edible party centerpiece.
Ingredients: 2 cups all-purpose flour. 1/2 teaspoon baking powder. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened. 3/4 cup granulated sugar. 1 large egg. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Purple food coloring. Assorted colorful sprinkles. Edible silver pearls.
Instructions: Warm the oven up to 350F 175C and put parchment paper on baking sheets. Mix the flour, baking powder, and salt together in a bowl with a whisk. Put away. Melt the butter and mix it with the sugar in another bowl until it is light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix them in well. Mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients one at a time until a dough forms. A few drops of purple food coloring should be added to the dough, and it should be worked until the color is spread out evenly. Break the dough up into smaller pieces and roll each one into a ball. Make each ball a little flatter, then put them on the baking sheets that have been prepared. After the oven is hot, bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges are just beginning to turn golden. After taking the cookies out of the oven, let them cool for a few minutes on the baking sheets before moving them to a wire rack to cool all the way down. Add colorful sprinkles and edible silver pearls to the cookies once they are completely cool. To put together the cookie tree, start by making the base out of the biggest cookie. Put smaller cookies on top of each other, and put a little frosting between each layer to help them stick. This will make a tree shape. Keep putting the cookies on top of each other until you have a tree-like shape. For a holiday look, add more sprinkles and silver pearls to the tree. After putting the cookie tree together, let it cool for a while before using it as the centerpiece for the Violet Birthday Party.
