I feel so bad!

I’m sitting my sisters dogs and they’re absolutely terrified of fireworks. The poor babies are hiding. I’m just sitting with them trying to comfort them.

One is so scared he’s hiding in a closet. I can’t get him to come out.

Quiet night time has turned into a cradle session with the puppy because some assholes down the street decided they want to set off an entire country’s budget worth of fireworks 🙄🙄

She’s settling now, and thankfully the fireworks don’t seem to be too constant. Scott’s on hand to help either way (showing him to her did actually distract her from the loud noises!)

Dear Neighbors…

Happy 4th of July 🇺🇸 However, could you please stop blowing up every friggin’ firework in East TN⁉️ I am worn out after liberating my son from a maniacal, borderline bitch on wheels, who strategically placed her group home in one of the most isolated, rural communities in Middle TN, so that she could intimidate her wards with verbal abuse, and threats of bodily harm, and/or imprisonment, should they complain to anyone.

Hopefully, everyone will cease and desist the cannon ball fireworks at a reasonable hour, so they can return to work tomorrow, because the sounds of gunfire and bombs are fraying on my last nerve and terrifying my cats. Frankly, neighborhood fireworks are a stupid tradition…Have a barbecue, a few beers, a few cocktails, fly Old Glory 🇺🇸, and celebrate freedom without re-creating the sounds of flipping war…😫

Here are a couple of pictures of my pupper, Coraline. In her ThunderCoat. She is wearing it because Asshats are still setting off fireworks in our neighborhood. At all hours. 9pm. 12:30am. 2:30am and she is terrified of them. My 9 year old daughter isn’t a fan either but no ThunderCoat for her, just me and her favorite stuffy.

I hate the 4th of July and fireworks and asshats that have to blow things up all month.
